ABOUT

Vibes Of The Bay was a one day collaboration festival on August 29th, 2016 focusing on local music, art, and food vendors all based in the surrounding Tampa Bay area. The event was created to bring awareness and showcase the best up and coming talent and local businesses in the Tampa Bay Area.

Symphonic Distribution brought me on to curate, produce, and promote the event for the 2nd year in a row.

MY ROLE

My role as Event and Marketing Manager included:

  • Executing a branding and imagery strategy for the festival-

  • Curating and negotiating all artist and band involvements with booking agencies and management firms-

  • Securing venue and host agreement with Crowbar in Ybor City, FL-

  • Securing promotional sponsorships including companies such as Feeding Tampa Bay, Pabst Blue Ribbon, City2Nite, and Creative Loafing-

  • Assistance with rollout of social media promotional efforts-

  • Street team marketing and coordination of handout materials across the Tampa Bay area-

  • On-site activation including coordination of set times, sound checks, load-in and load-out of musicians, organization of art and food vendors
